How is the resume score calculated?
By 12 fixed checks worth 100 points: contact details, professional email, headline, LinkedIn, summary length, education, skills, work experience (or projects for freshers), strong action verbs, numbers in bullet points, no “I/my/me”, and length for your experience level. The same resume always gets the same score.
Is my resume uploaded or stored?
The PDF is read on your own device. Only its text is sent to our AI to sort it into sections, and it isn't stored.
Does it work for experienced professionals?
Yes. Choose Fresher, Experienced or Senior before you upload. Experienced resumes can run to two pages and are judged mainly on work history, dates and results, while fresher resumes are judged on education and projects.
What is a good resume score?
80 or above is strong. 55 to 79 is a good start with a few fixes, and below 55 needs work. Fix the red items first.
Does this check if my resume is ATS-friendly?
It checks the content ATS systems and recruiters look for: clear sections, contact details, skills and well-written experience. To check keywords for a specific job, use “Match your resume to a job” in the Resume Builder.
