Full form: Loss of Pay
Meaning
Days of absence for which the employee is not paid, usually because the leave balance is over or the leave was not approved. It is often also called leave without pay.

When to use it
Use it when you talk about unpaid leave days or a salary deduction for absence.
Examples
1. I have no leave balance left, so the two days will be marked as LOP.
मेरा लीव बैलेंस खत्म हो चुका है, इसलिए ये दो दिन LOP में गिने जाएँगे।
2. Please apply for the leave in advance, otherwise the absence may be treated as LOP.
कृपया छुट्टी के लिए पहले से आवेदन कर दीजिए, नहीं तो ग़ैरहाज़िरी LOP मानी जा सकती है।
