Meaning

A step, person or resource that slows down the whole process because everything has to pass through it.

Use it when you point out what is delaying a project, and then suggest a way to fix it.

1. Approvals have become the bottleneck; every request waits two days for sign-off.
अप्रूवल अब सबसे बड़ी रुकावट बन गए हैं; हर रिक्वेस्ट साइन-ऑफ़ के लिए दो दिन रुकी रहती है।
2. We have only one tester, so testing is the bottleneck for every release.

💡 Tip: Talk about the process, not the person, for example “approvals are a bottleneck” rather than “Rahul is the bottleneck”.
